Good morning Glenburn Community,
Out of an abundance of caution we will be postponing the middle school Halloween dance until further notice. We appreciate that this is upsetting for many of our students so we will attempt to reschedule the dance to a later date. If your child was planning to stay after school to help set up, please contact us to set up alternate dismissal plans.
Friday, October 27, 2023 The Glenburn School will be in session today. Our intention is to provide students and community members with a traditional school day focused on learning and growth. We will be vigilant regarding student's physical and emotional needs. We understand the upsetting nature of this situation and are following the advice of experts. Sad News
Our hearts are with the victims of this senseless act of violence that has taken lives in Lewiston last night. The Glenburn School will be open today in an effort to provide a sense of normalcy for our students and community. We are working with local law enforcement and the state police to add an additional layer of visibility today. The experts suggest that by providing a normal experience in times like this we help to rebuild the sense of security that is shaken in the wake of these tragic events. We have shared resources with our staff and intend to focus on teaching and learning today. If you or your child(ren)are in need of support please reach out as needed.

Open Ed. Tech III - PreK
The Glenburn School is looking for a caring and nurturing individual who is currently certified or able to be certified as an Ed Tech III through the Maine DOE. The successful candidate will work in our Pre K program. This is a five day per week 8:00-2:45 position with benefits and pay calculated by the collective bargaining agreement. Halloween Dance!
Good afternoon Glenburn School Community,
Today at approximately 2:20PM the Federal Emergency Alert System will be sending out a test alert. This test will be in the form of an alert tone and message. Since this alert will come close to our dismissal time, we don't want anybody to be confused. The alert is not connect to the school and dismissal will continue as normal.

The boys/girls soccer games scheduled for today 9/12/23 at Bangor Christian School are CANCELED. The rescheduled date is Monday, September 25, 2023.

This message is to inform you that our school held a Lockdown Drill at approximately 9:30am today September 12th, 2023. The drill went smoothly and all students and staff are now back to business as usually.

Wednesday September 13, 2023 is a 1/2 day of school, dismissal will start at 12pm. Reminder: Open House is also happening on Wednesday 6-7pm.
